The appearance of this leather is of velvet,achieved by rubbing raw pigment into the surface.This special process also results in the intensity of colour,and its oh-so-soft tactile quality.

Indeed a lady,remarked that she was buying a pocket book as she could stroke it all the time but unlike a pet it didn't need walking!....I guess she meant a dog but it could have a llama?!

Alpha leather is so named as it was the first leather that we worked with....when we began some 20 years ago.
